This website has been created in order to form a community where developers can request help from, and share their applications and with other developers and resellers. Although some of the projects may follow open source principles, the terms of software distribution is left entirely to the discretion of the project owners.

For installations of specific types of hardware and related support, please refer to the manufacturers section.

Resellers

A reseller is a company that buys TeleFlow licenses and related services, with the sole purpose of reselling them directly to their customers without any changes. If you are searching for telecommunications solutions, consider contacting one of the following resellers in your area:

Hardware Vendors

A hardware vendor is a company that sells hardware supported by TeleFlow. Hardware installation often requires specialized configuration and working closely with telephone companies. If you are purchasing new hardware, consider contacting one of the following hardware vendors in your area:

Manufacturer

A manufacturer is a company that engineers and/or manufactures hardware and/or software that provides telecommunications connectivity and media processing. These companies provide the foundation on which TeleFlow operates.

OEM

Original Equipment Manufacturer's are manufacturers or developers who resell TeleFlow products under their own name. TeleFlow can either be white labeled with the OEM's trademarks, or included in a larger product, or both.


Distributor

A person or company who provides TeleFlow Installers utilizing the TeleFlow web based payment system, and receives a percentage of any sale. For more information on how to become a TeleFlow Distributor, click here.


Client

A person or company who purchases TeleFlow and related products and services from a Vendor or OEM.


Developers

Developers are the people who create applications using TeleFlow. The applications may be stand-alone, or a part of a larger system. This site is probably of most interest to developers, and accordingly we have included contributors as subsections, even though a contributor can be any person who has an interest in the website.

Standard Contributor

A person or company who has purchased the TeleFlow Standard (or equivalent) product for their organization, and contributes to the wiki and blog sections of teleflow.org. Contributions may include technical information, and insight on industry trends, and where applicable information learned from developing with TeleFlow. Standard Contributors may not specifically mention trademarks or product names available for sale, but may promote their skills and services in their user page. Interested parties will be able to find the user page via Wiki links for the contributions.

Enterprise Contributor

A person or company who has purchased the TeleFlow Enterprise(or equivalent) product for their organization, and contributes to the wiki and blog sections of teleflow.org. Contributions may include technical information, and insight on industry trends, as well as pages with information about the products that are optionally available by the Enterprise Contributor. Please note that an Enterprise Contributor may require an OEM/Reseller agreement, or Distributor agreement in order to provide TeleFlow Server and related applications.

Voice Artists

In many cases, voice applications are heard by the general public, or clients. For that reason, a voice actor who knows how to read and record scripts may be a critical component of a new system, in order to ensure it was will received. Please refer to the Voice Artists section for contact information.


Host Provider

Host providers are companies that provide computer servers with telecommunications services for TeleFlow applications. TeleFlow applications are "hosted" on these computers generally on the premise of the host company. The host provider will generally charge for network access (telephone service and/or net service) according to usage along with a base monthly fee.
