This step clears all pending touch-tones from the touch-tone buffer. This is sometimes used just prior to playing a main system menu, so that callers can press a key when the system answers the phone, skip introductory messages, but still hear all options in the menu, rather than accidentally selecting one. Note that care should be taken when placing Clear TT steps in applications. Experts of a system (I.e. Frequent callers that know how the system call flow works) may expect to be able to enter options before hearing them, and this step can interfere with this.
