Connect Point Step
This steps allows a flow line to be connected to the next step via a more specific route than just a direct connection. It is extremely handy as lines can be drawn more tidy away from and around other steps. This helps to keep connecting lines from crossing over other steps making flowcharts easier to read (which is why it is referred to as a documentation step: In a flowchart based development environment, a clean, easy to follow flowchart is as much a part of documentation as comments on why something is being done are.)

NOTE: Unlike other TeleFlow steps, you can drop new steps on top of Connect [[TeleFlow_Step_0082|Point step]]s, replacing them with the newly dropped step. The flow shape leading to and from the connect point being replaced is kept for the replacement step.
