The TeleFlow Server runs TeleFlow applications (Tap/Tam files) specified in the TAL file. TeleFlow Server is responsible for starting the applications, communicating their output to the necessary logs and to the TeleFlow Monitor, re-starting applications that terminate incorrectly, and communicating with any number of other services including web servers, databases, as well as support programs including [[TeleFlow Monitor]].

TeleFlow applications are developed using [[TeleFlow Designer]] and can be tested before being installed on a server environment using [[TeleFlow Simulator]].

A version of TeleFlow is being made available for [[TeleFlow_Open_Source|open source]].   In advance of that, the [[TeleFlow Board API]] shows the structure of the TeleFlow model, and defines the functions.
